With contributions from business leaders, leading economists and industry experts, the handsome 228-page hardback publication, produced in partnership with publisher St James’s House, charts the unique role that the CBI has played in championing British business over the past 50 years, and sets out the organisation’s vision for the future.

The CBI is the UK’s biggest business lobbying organisation and speaks on behalf of 190,000 businesses of all sizes and sectors that together employ nearly 7 million people, about one third of the private sector-employed workforce.

With offices in the UK as well as representation in Brussels, Washington, Beijing and Delhi, the CBI communicates the British business voice around the world.

St James’s House is a leading custom publisher and has produced numerous official publications in partnership with a variety of public- and private sector organisations, including the Thames Diamond Jubilee Foundation, the Royal Navy and the RAF.

“Working with the CBI on such a milestone publication has been a real honour, and we’re thrilled with the outcome,” says St James’s House Director Richard Freed.

“We’re confident that the publication will be well received by readers and CBI members worldwide.”
