GGA Software Services LLC, a leading provider of outsourced scientific informatics services to the life sciences industry, announced today the appointment of Stephen Yemm as Vice President of Business Development, Europe.
In this capacity, Mr. Yemm will be responsible for all new business development activities for GGA in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe. Mr. Yemm brings to GGA over 20 years of successful sales and marketing experience in the laboratory data management and software solutions field.

Prior to joining GGA, Mr. Yemm was a founding Managing Director at systems integrator Vialis AG, where he established the company’s Northern European subsidiary. Previously, Mr. Yemm served as Director of Strategic Account Management at Symyx Technologies, where he was responsible for establishing global account strategy and for managing key European pharmaceutical accounts. In addition, Mr. Yemm was Executive Director of the Global Accounts Program at CambridgeSoft, European Field Director at IDBS Ltd., and UK Country Manager at NuGenesis Technologies. He also has direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as a medicinal chemist for Boots Pharmaceuticals for several years in the early 1980s. He holds a BSc Degree with Honors in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University.
