GGA Software Services LLC, a leading provider of outsourced scientific informatics services to the life sciences industry, announced today the promotion of John Lyons to Vice President of Business Development, United States.
In this capacity, Mr. Lyons will lead new business development activities for GGA in the United States. Mr. Lyons has over 20 years of successful sales and marketing experience in the laboratory data management and software solutions field, including the past five years in business development positions of increasing responsibility with GGA.

While at GGA, Mr. Lyons has been effective at undertaking new business development and strategic account management at many of GGA’s clients in the pharmaceutical, scientific informatics, and scientific instrumentation industries. Previously, Mr. Lyons served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Genedata, Executive Director of Sales and Services at LION Bioscience, Director of Sales at MDL Information Systems, and Senior Account Manager at Thermo Electron’s Labsystems division. He also has direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as a Research Associate at Johnson & Johnson’s Pharmaceutical Research Institute. He holds a BS Degree in Chemistry from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
