Business Intelligence Company Worldbox expands into Rotterdam

The global Business Information company, Worldbox, has opened a subsidiary in Rotterdam, Holland named Worldbox Benelux BV.

Worldbox’s newest bureau – in addition to existing offices in Switzerland, the UK, Hong Kong and India – will broaden its international reach, offering an extended array of international business information services to existing clients, and reaching new customers from the heart of the European market.

The Netherlands’ Worldbox subsidiary will additionally act as a quality control centre for its European business operations and as an extension to its Swiss headquarters, which handles all of its German-speaking clients.

Adrian Ashurst, Worldbox CEO, says Rotterdam “will provide a central operating location in Europe for the company, increasing its effectiveness, internationally, and offering services in English, Dutch, German and French languages”.

He adds that Worldbox chose Rotterdam because it is a key location for international companies doing business in Europe.

Rotterdam has an estimated population of 600,000 made up of 175 nationalities. Its location makes it one of the best business locations in Europe, at the heart of the European market and its 500 million consumers.

Worldbox’s expansion into Holland follows its announcement in February that it had taken over the research activities of the Zurich-based business information provider OFWI.

These operations include corporate and private client orders for credit check reports, business investigations, and due diligence operations on companies worldwide.

Worldbox provides easy access to detailed data on a range of essential areas, including: validation and verification of company registrations and accounts, corporate and financial records and credit risk reports.
