Since his passing, the parent company Garden of Light Inc. (DBA Bakery on Main), has transitioned ownership to Melodie Smulders. A revolutionary in her own right, she embraced the opportunity to refresh a well-known and tenured brand, with various new product lines.

Throughout 2025, Bakery on Main products will be discontinued and will no longer be available in-store or online. However, two Bakery on Main granola flavors, due to their popularity, were reimagined for the new Uncle Crumbles brand: Cranberry Almond Maple and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. Consumers can find these under the Uncle Crumbles brand as Cran-Maple Crunch and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. In absolute, Uncle Crumbles encourages existing and new customers to revolutionize their taste buds with new flavors, while still knowing the granola, oats, and oatmeal product lines are made with all-natural and gluten-free ingredients.
