Green Motion Car Rental announces opening at San Diego International Airport

Green Motion Car Rental has announced the opening of its new car hire location in San Diego International Airport’s new rental car center.1

The rental car location will operate daily offering low emission, environmentally friendly vehicles for hire. Green Motion customers will also be offered the rental car center’s shuttle bus service.

“The opening at the new San Diego airport rental center is the most recent development for the Green Motion brand. We look forward to growing our franchises and improving our customer experience with the new state of the art facilities and streamlined rental and return access at San Diego Airport.” said Richard Lowden, Green Motion’s Founder & CEO.

Featuring 15 car rental brands, San Diego Airport’s new $316-million rental car center is set to open to airport travellers on Wed. Jan. 20. The rental center is located at 3355 Admiral Boland Way.

“When I look at the new Rental Car Center, I see a facility that does it all,” said Robert Gleason, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority Board Chair. “It improves the customer experience from start to finish; it helps us maximize use of our 661-acre footprint in a sustainable way; and it bolsters the airport’s role as a key economic driver.”
