Ronaldo has been linked with moves to the Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona over the summer, however the reds manager has killed all rumours about the wingers future today.
Sir Alex told the Correio de Manha newspaper, “Chief executive David Gill will sign the agreement with Cristiano which will extend his deal until 2010”, he went on to say “The numbers have been agreed for a while, we just need his signature”.
The portugese international joined united in 2003 and in over 62 appearances for united Ronaldo has scored 9 goals in total.
The amazing youngster will continue to grace Old trafford and abroad with a United jersey on his back for what is expected to be another 5 years.
