Simpson’s “Can’t Let You Go” tour accompanied by Clayton Bryant

Following the massive success of Simpson’s first EP “Steady”, January’15, the Soulternative Pop artist launches his “Can’t Let You Go” tour on 9th May 2015, 20:00, at Proud Camden, in London, headlining with none other than American solo artist Clayton Bryant; the first of many international collaborations to come.

Simpson said: “I’m am so excited to be on the road and sharing my new music with those who have supported and continue to support this journey from the beginning to now! I hope to meet a whole load of new faces and have a great time!”

Both artists were already fans of each other’s work even before they met and thanks to social media, they discovered each other and their passion for legends such as Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, the Temptations and Stevie Wonder and modern day heroes including Prince, Pharrell and Amy Winehouse.

Clayton was hugely influenced and nurtured by his mentors, vocal greats and Pop and Soul music Legends Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross.

Clayton said: “I can’t wait to see where this tour takes us. Excited to share my music and heart with British music lovers.”

The “Can’t Let You Go” tour is devoted to the singers’ passion and love of music and to let people discover and escape in their warm and soulful world singing classics such as “Change Is Gonna Come” from Sam Cooke, “My Funny Valentine” from Ella Fitzgerald or “I Can’t Stand The Rain” from Ann Peebles, all of that interspersed with Simpson’s and Clayton’s original material such as “Steady” and “Wild Horses”.

Both artists have prepared a surprise for the British music lovers as well: the young British singer Sam Brett is going to guest star and open some shows during the tour.

– May 9th – Proud Camden, London
– May 12th – Annie’s Leigh on Sea, South End

More about the artists

SIMPSON’s musical journey started when he was just a small child and fell in love with the sweet melodic sounds played in his family home, such as Simpson’s has previously performed on prestigious stages and events such as, the London Jazz Festival, the Natural History Museum, the Business Design Centre and one of his proudest moments for HRH the Prince of Whales. Influenced by different kind of music, we can affirm that Simpson is an eclectic musician.

His style is different from others and he is the one who introduced the Soulternative Pop as a new music genre within Great Britain. Clayton Bryant is also well known in the musical scene, with an appearance in the Oscar and Gramm award winning 2013 documentary “Twenty Feet from Stardom by Morgan Neville. It is no exaggeration to say that the future of music is in good hands.
