Sav Noir and iCu are pleased to announce San Francisco’s biggest night in fashion- the first Alleyway Runway Fashion Show, “MIDNIGHT”.
The fabulous 111 Minna Gallery will be home to this one-of-a-kind show which will take place Saturday April 26th from 8PM – 2AM. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend an exclusive preview of the Sav Noir Collection from 7-8PM the day of the show for an up close and personal look at the revolutionary line.
Attendees are invited to enjoy an open bar from 8-9PM with delectable cocktails provided by ABSOLUT Vodka in preparation for an evening of high-fashion and networking with the Bay Area’s elite.
Not only will this event showcase the contemporary aesthetic of Sav Noir’s NEW clothing line, but it will also debut San Francisco’s hottest up-and-coming designers. Among the featured designers are Dexter Flawk and Cecilia Aragon, known for their presence on BRAVO’s “Styled to Rock” TV Show.
The night will be one of magic and music, with an amazing performance by “The Seshen”. Attending this fashion forward event is a chance to witness some of the Bay Area’s top designers first hand, followed by an after party with tunes provided by celebrity DJs Richie Panic and Matrixxman!
The Sav Noir and iCu Teams are elated to partner with 111 Minna Gallery, to promote positive creativity through the arts and continue the legacy of passion through fashion. “MIDNIGHT” directly reflects the image of Sav Noir; a brand that speaks to the rebels of society.
The setting of a city alley is symbolic of combining both worlds of fashion and street on one single runway. Surely this event will attract the likes of the Bay Area’s most innovative minds, creating an atmosphere of what is current on the fashion/art scene with a sophisticated twist.
“We are who are,” confidently depicts Edwin Haynes, the designer of ‘Sav Noir’. “Orchestrating this fashion show reflects my personal growth in the fashion industry – transitioning from street wear to appreciating different fabrics and designing unique pieces.
This show will also display the growth of the brand, representing for young and inspirational designers everywhere, and bring the fashion community in San Francisco together.” Sav Noir has been proudly featured in “The Guardian” and magazines such as “Relapse N.Y.C.”, “Hip-Hop Weekly”, Japanese based “Ollie” and most recently an interview of Edwin and a 10 page spread that can be found in “The Source”.
Public figures such as Outkast’s Big Boi, MTV artist Machine Gun Kelly, up-and-coming Sony artist Vinny Chase and many more have worn Edwin’s garments.
