Enochs entered the art world in 1981, when he graduated with his Masters in Fine Art from Indiana University (Bloomington). Since then, he has created large-scale works for public installations from Indiana to China. Since 2015 alone, Enochs has been commissioned to create monumental sculptures for the Monroe County Courthouse (Bloomington, IN), Logs Peak (Westminster, CO), Bicentennial Plaza for the Indiana Statehouse (Indianapolis, IN), and Indianapolis Firefighters Campus (Indianapolis, IN). In 2016, he was selected as one of the 200 top artists in Indiana’s history and created a piece for the Indiana State Museum’s Bicentennial exhibit; that piece was later acquired by the museum for its permanent collection.
Long-Sharp Gallery will honor Dale and his accomplishments with a month-long exhibit featuring more than twenty pieces including free-standing sculpture and wall-works. The exhibit will showcase sculpture ranging in height from eight inches to 9.5 feet. The opening is sponsored by Conrad Indianapolis and EvanTodd Spa & Salon.
