Ephesoft Makes “Smart” Move With Introduction of SnapDoc Mobile Smart Capture™

Ephesoft Inc., creators of the industry-leading Smart Capture™ advanced document capture platform has unveiled the latest convenience in document capture solutions.

SnapDoc by Ephesoft literally puts the power of document capture in your hand, allowing you to browse or capture documents directly from your mobile device. From there, you can remotely send documents directly to a batch class, perform data extraction, and even generate XML and PDF files on the fly.

This power-packed app is also completely free for anyone with an existing Ephesoft Enterprise license.

“Using mobile devices for capture is becoming mainstream for many businesses, so Ephesoft developed their free mobile app to make it easy to address that market need,” says Don Field, Ephesoft CEO. “It’s easy to use, but still a powerful addition to our Enterprise Edition solution.”

The SnapDoc app is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms. It can be integrated inside the Ephesoft Cloud or during on-premise installation of Ephesoft Enterprise. SnapDoc also delivers real-time OCR feedback from your device, including validation and correction of any errors.

“SnapDoc is the real deal, and something I urge every Ephesoft customer to take full advantage of,” says Ike Kavas, Ephesoft Chief Technology Officer. “We worked hard to develop a document ingestion process from the field that could deliver to distant workflows in real time. There is no doubt in my mind we have succeeded.”

Ephesoft, Inc. delivers our exclusive Smart Capture™ intelligent capture technology on-premise or in a SaaS model. With a focus on efficiency and reliability, Ephesoft has crafted the next generation of intelligent document capture in a simple and cost-effective application.   Ephesoft’s use of open standards and web-based software offers extreme flexibility and accessibility for a wide range of customers.  Our superior classification technology allows organizations to automate and streamline mailroom processing and other document-based business processes.
