The Great British Weather Claims Sky Victims

TV obsessed Brits are going to extraordinary lengths to preserve their monthly TV subscriptions… but is this all in vain?

The great British weather has caused chaos and destruction throughout the country with more people than ever experiencing problems with their Sky equipment as a result of the storms and wet weather causing damage to their cabling and satellite dish.

Repairs are costly, and even for those who have protection policies it has been doubly frustrating as just when they need help they have either been told that it โ€œis just not windy enough to have caused damageโ€ or in some cases have had to provide proof of localised wind conditions or worse case have found out that either they are not covered or their existing company has gone out of business.

So whatโ€™s the answer?

One company saw a 266% increase in the number of claims at the start of the year due to the weather and have gone to unprecedented lengths to assist their customers even agreeing to hold current prices at the same level until the end of the year. Mark Underwood, Sat Insure Ltd Operations Director commented โ€œthat with so much bad news and weather around we wanted to bring a little sunshine to the consumerโ€

Sat Insure wonโ€™t expect proof of wind speeds, or weather conditions, they offer very competitive pricing, have a proven track record and service 7 days a week with free technical assistance. They are fully FSA Regulated and the only Trading Standards Approved Buy with Confidence member within the industry so far.

Sat Insure provide nation-wide coverage.
