The guest of honour that evening was Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and the evening’s 500 odd guests included prominent society figures such as Marina Mahathir, familiar faces from the entertainment scene, like celebrity host, Marion Caunter, Richard Mille VIP clients and Malaysia’s top media.

Even before Michelle’s arrival at eight in the evening, thousands of fans were seen surrounding the entrance of the shopping mall, all waiting to catch a glimpse of Michelle. And as Michelle made her entrance shortly after, throngs of paparazzis flocked towards her, all wanting to snap a picture of the leading lady herself. Michelle looked stunning in a cocktail dress, paired with the infamous Richard Mille timepiece, the RM 007 Diamond Cruncher. Beaming with radiance, Michelle welcomed and greeted the guests, many of whom were her close family and friends who came specially to support her Charity movie premiere.

After addressing the guests on stage, Michelle, along with Dave Tan, C.E.O of Richard Mille Asia presented a mock cheque of 100,000 Malaysian Ringgit from the night’s ticket sales proceeds to Voice of the Children, a charity that is very dear to Michelle’s heart.

Another highlight was the end of the evening when Michelle Yeoh came back on stage to thank the audience personally. Terming the film as ‘a labor of love’, she shared: ‘Aung San Suu Kyi is such a revered person, she is such a good human being (who) would be very inspirational for me not just as an actress but for the audience as well.’

Indeed, Richard Mille is proud to have a brand partner, Michelle Yeoh who has a talent as big as her heart, which shines through her performance in the movie, ‘The Lady’.
