Search & Directory and Mobile Company InfoSpace Appoint Gavin Somers, Graham Johnson and Brad Ingram in Preparation of Growth

Search & Directory and Mobile Company InfoSpace http://www.infospaceinc.com has appointed Gavin Somers, Graham Johnson and Brad Ingram in preparation of huge surge in the search sector.
InfoSpace, whose metasearch technology has established the company as a key player in the US search and directory market, has sent a clear signal of their determination to extend a powerful presence across Europe, with the announcement that they have appointed Gavin Somers, Graham Johnson and Brad Ingram.
Gavin Somers, who holds an MBA and over 15 years experience in senior marketing positions, joins as the Marketing Director of Search & Directory at InfoSpace Europe. He most recently held positions in the telecoms, IT and new media sectors, working for companies such as Marconi, Nynex and ADC.
Somers says, “I recognised that InfoSpace has huge potential in Europe given the need to access information dominates our lives. My role will be to define, develop and manage all marketing objectives, strategies and activities in Europe. InfoSpace is a 600 employee global business, with great products and huge market potential, a key challenge initially in my role is to make InfoSpace a well known brand.”
Gavin will be reporting directly to Dominic Trigg, Vice President of Search & Directory. Trigg explains, “The continued explosive growth of online search, our unique high value products and the strong and growing team that is now in place, heralds an exciting new chapter in our plans for growth in Europe.”
Joining Gavin at InfoSpace are Graham Johnson and Brad Ingram, as Business Development Manager and Business Development Account Manager respectively.
“Graham who has an extensive background in media business development at companies including Coca Cola and Valueclick will be spearheading our drive into new markets. Brad’s role as Business Development Account Manager will ensure the continued professional management of our existing clients as he comes to us with extensive new media experience from within UK and abroad,” concludes Trigg.
