A single mother of four who returned to work after the tax credits system promised to cover her childcare costs, ended up in hospital after her claim became too complicated to sort out.
The Shropshire 38 year old mum of four was forced to sell off her kids things at a church car boot sale to raise enough money for food and nappies. Shadow pensions minister Steve Webb will raise her case in parliament when it resumes. The family's youngest child is just four and the eldest is waiting for a heart transplant. This Family came off all income support benefits when mum returned work in sales, but childcare and other bills backed up while her tax credits claim got lost in the system leaving her on anti-depressants and close to a nervous breakdown 1000-1500 feature available.
