The Five Star Institute announced that James B. Lockhart III will deliver the morning keynote address at the 2017 Five Star Government Forum on April 5, 2017 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
Lockhart is the Vice Chairman of WL Ross & Co. LLC, and is responsible for the management and oversight of $6 billion of private equity investments, a Mortgage Recovery Fund, and Irish Mezzanine Real Estate Fund. Lockhart has served in the U.S. Government in a series of presidential-appointed, Senate-confirmed positions. He was previously the Director and Chairman of the Oversight Board of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. He was also the Director of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, as he was nominated by President George W. Bush in 2006.
