Macrium Software, the disaster recovery software specialists, are pleased to have joined forces with SK hynix, a global leader in innovative memory technologies and the second largest manufacturer of memory semiconductors worldwide.

Macrium Software have partnered with SK hynix to provide a fast and reliable disk migration utility for their SSD customers.

SK hynix required a partner who could provide effective disk imaging and cloning software to enable customers to quickly and easily transfer data from their old hard drive onto a new SK hynix SSD. With a Macrium Reflect based utility now part of their offering, SK hynix customers can reliably undertake a full system migration of all Windows operating systems and user data to their new hard drive, in just 4 simple clicks.

Junbum, Ahn, SK hynix Senior Marketing Manager, states “We were pleased to find a partner who could so closely align to our needs and very quickly work with us to integrate their powerful disk imaging software into our SSD to provide added value to our customers”.

SK hynix have translated the Macrium’s disk migration utility user interface into Korean and English languages, and will be shipping the SSDs worldwide in the coming months.

Nick Sills, CEO Macrium Software states “It’s great to be working with a global leader like SK hynix, and to partner with them to provide a slick, easy to use and fast disk migration utility. We look forward to partnering with them closely in the future and with our new v6 Macrium Reflect coming out soon, providing ever increasing functionality to meet the needs of their customers”.

Macrium provide a complete disaster recovery solution for home or business which is used worldwide to protect documents, data and operating systems. Using advanced disk imaging technology the entire disk contents are securely saved in an easily recoverable backup file. With over 3 million installs worldwide, Macrium is a trusted and reliable solution for all disk recovery and backup needs.
