Detroit Electric , der internationale Elektrofahrzeughersteller, ist dabei die dynamische Testphase des SP:01 reinen Elektro-Sportwagens in einem europäischen Werk zu beenden, bevor er auf verschiedenen Märkten weltweit eingeführt wird.

Der leichte, zweisitzige, offene Elektro-Sportwagen mit Heckantrieb zeigt durch seine atemberaubende Leistung und Dynamik alle Anzeichen den Markt der Elektrofahrzeuge  zu erobern. 

Die neuste Version des SP:01 enthält zusätzliche Entwicklungsarbeiten von Ingenieuren und Designern von Detroit Electric, nachdem den Medien letztes Jahr eine Vor-Serienversion des Fahrzeugs auf den Events in Detroit (USA) und Shanghai (China) vorgeführt wurde.
