MTGx launches MediaFactory

MTGx is launching MediaFactory today, a partnership program aiming to give start-ups the opportunity to grow and expand their ideas and businesses through the beneficial environment of a global media house.

Three early stage start-ups in the fields of online video and music will be selected to develop a strategic partnership with some of MTG’s existing online products, such as Viaplay – the leading streaming service in Nordic for movies, series, sports, Play – our advertising funded channels, and Online Radio.MTGx is the digital accelerator of MTG and is built on three pillars – Viaplay, Play and Ventures. MediaFactory is a program driven by these existing pillars where each one will partner up with promising companies in their field.

During three months the companies will receive office space, mentoring from digital experts, and access to the powerful network of a global media house, as well as financial support of €20,000.

The program is driven by MTGx Ventures on a product level, as part of its strategy to work closely with innovation and start-up communities around the world, to find and develop services, products and talent that will drive entertainment in the future.

“MTGx works closely with innovation and start-up communities around the world, and we are excited to take it to the next level and partner up with the smartest entrepreneurs, who want to change the world of entertainment together with us. “ says Rikard Steiber, CEO MTGx and Chief Digital Officer MTG

The website is available at www.mtgxmediafactory.com where start-ups also can apply to the program.
