Splendia Announces Collaboration with Historic Hotels Company, Federal Group

Global Luxury & Character Hotels brand Splendia is proud to announce its partnership with prestigious luxury hotels company, Federal Group.

Since its creation in 1885, the Australian-owned Federal Group has combined incredible experiences with exquisite accommodation set in iconic destinations. The company has been honoured with numerous awards and its hotels are regularly included on lists such as the Condé Nast Traveller’s ‘Hot List of the top 60 Best New Hotels in the World’.

The collaboration is in line with Splendia’s strategy to offer a comprehensive collection of most unique character hotels in the best destinations worldwide. Alice Heber, APAC Hotel Business Director at Splendia, explains:

Initially, Splendia (www.splendia.com) is to include two of the Federal Group’s award-winning Tasmanian properties in its portfolio: Saffire Freycinet and Henry Jones Art Hotel. The Saffire Freycinet, described as “Australia’s most exciting new resort” shortly after it opened, is a luxurious shore-side boutique retreat in Coles Bay that mixes classic and contemporary design with absolute luxury. The Henry Jones Art Hotel is housed in a former jam factory dating back to 1804 on Hobart’s waterfront, in which hotelier Flora de Kantzow has combined antiquity and modernity. Over 300 pieces of artwork are on display in this exquisite boutique hotel.
