Money News http://www.moneynews.co.uk the financial news Website has added Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed to its service.

The feed presents Money News with another way to display its news and information to its readership and enables users to exercise more control in the way that they receive and interact with news.

Really Simple Syndication or Rich Summary Site (RSS) is a format that can syndicate content (e.g. data, information and news) from websites. This content can be broken down and presented in an easy to read format via readers or browsers. Once information about an item is in RSS format, a RSS-aware program can check the feed for changes and react to them in an appropriate way.

Dan Winchester, founder of Money News explains, “Internet users are becoming increasingly savvy and wish to harness information more quickly and easily than before. Our financial news caters for 13 different sectors and covers news on over 28 companies. RSS enables us to present news to our readers easily and in a way convenient to them.”

“RSS means that our audiences don’t even need to visit the Money News website to check if the latest news is available, because they can choose how and when they would like to interact with us through their browsers or readers. It’s a good method for us to communicate our financial news in a fast-paced arena, especially in an environment were there is so much noise and Spam via email.

By using RSS we are empowering users to be more in command of what they elect to see, and how they process the information; ultimately determining the flexibility in the way news is delivered at their leisure,” concludes Winchester.

The Money News RSS feed can be found at http://www.moneynews.co.uk/rss/rss.xml.
