Telindus chooses telent for field engineering and maintenance services

telent, the technology services company, has been chosen by Telindus Ltd, the UK ICT arm of Belgacom, to provide field-engineering services across mainland UK and Northern Ireland.This new partnership will see telent provide field engineering support and maintenance services for Telindus across a range of technology platforms.

Utilising its nationwide multi-vendor accredited  field force – the largest of its kind in the UK - telent (www.telent.com) will provide Telindus (www.telindus.com) with an enhancement to its existing field engineering force, delivering 24x7x365 field engineering support and maintenance for equipment faults that require an engineer and  replacement parts on site.

To facilitate communication with Telindus, telent will also provide a Service Desk for the receipt and management of faults requiring field engineering support, escalation and restoration management, as well as associated logistics and spares holding services.
