Is missing Canadian woman in France? Family seeks public’s help; fears for sister’s physical and mental safety

The 39-year-old single woman left her Toronto home with no notice. Her departure was so sudden, in fact, unwashed dishes were left in her apartment sink, bills and her mortgage have gone unpaid, and her lap top and cell phone were left behind.

Shannon arrived in Amsterdam in February. Police in Marseille confirmed that she reported a stolen passport and bank card on April 7th, but has recently been seen in Annecy, France on September 19th and Valleiry, France on September 23rd. The Toronto Police Service have an active missing persons file open on Shannon. She is listed as an official missing person by Interpol. Anyone with information, of any kind, is asked to contact their local police authorities.

Shannon’s brother, Terence Sullivan, and cousin, Meegan Sullivan, are in the Greater Geneva area this week to elicit the help of police and the public in finding Shannon. They believe she may be suffering from mental illness (delusions and paranoia). With no money and no support, Shannon’s physical well-being is also of great concern.

Shannon is described as 1.6 meters tall, weighing 52 kilograms. She has blonde hair, brown eyes and a broad smile.
