Chopstix Group UK and Welcome Break UK launch first site

Chopstix Noodle Bar, the UK’s fastest growing Oriental QSR brand, will launch their first restaurant with Welcome Break at Birchanger Green Services, M11, Dunmow Road, Bishop’s Stratford CM23 SQ2, early August.

Welcome Break is one of the UK’s leading independent motorway service operators and has 27 sites across the UK. Welcome Break sites are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and attract 85 million motorway customers annually.

Chopstix Group is an emerging Oriental fast-food restaurant chain with now over 55 sites across the UK and Ireland.

The Chopstix group has grown into a unique brand-led fast food chain blending the best fusion of authentic Oriental inspired fast food with casual, convenient dining experiences on offer at affordable prices. In addition, Chopstix’s chefs cook the food on site to ensure each dish is served as fresh as possible and deliver chef theatre.

Although the concept of Chopstix was conceived over a decade ago, it has picked up pace and rapidly expanded in the last 4 years, which focuses on fresh, nutritious tasty Oriental cuisine from the finest ingredients and most innovative fusion recipes to the health conscious. Since the first major shopping centre branch opened at Bluewater in 2010, Chopstix has become a staple in the shopping centre food court.

Welcome Break has partnerships with the world’s largest specialist sandwich provider, Subway, and branches have opened at 26 Welcome Break locations to date. It has also partnered with salad bar brand Tossed, and now have six units at Birchanger, South Mimms, Fleet, Warwick Southbound, Cobham and Oxford.

Furthermore, the brand now operates fourteen Starbucks Drive Thrus with plans to open a further two at Hopwood Park and Birchanger this summer that complement the existing Starbucks outlets located in the amenity building.

There are also a total of 18 Harry Ramsden’s across Welcome Break sites offering world famous fish and chips.

Recently added to the impressive list of well know high street brands, Welcome Break, has partnered with retro-American diner chain, Ed’s Easy Diner. The first Ed’s Easy Diner site opened in South Mimms, located on

junction 23 of the M25 in Hertfordshire, in April 2016. And has recently announced it will be opening its first Pret-A-Manger store at South Mimms late August.

Welcome Break also operates 25 Days Inn and four Ramada hotels across the UK motorway network.
